The RAZOR SHARP team is thrilled to report that our heroine, Cassidy Freeman, is set to jump back into the comic book/action genre in a big way as the new Season 8 villain on the hit CW series, SMALLVILLE!

After impressing the executives at the CW with her work in RAZOR SHARP, Cassidy was cast in the lead of an unaired pilot this season, called AUTIN GOLDEN HOUR. So taken was the network with her formidable action and dramatic abilities in both projects, the decision was made to add Cassidy as a staple of the CW’s premiere genre series. The official announcement came from Warner Brothers earlier this week.

For those of you who need to get your geek on, come check out RAZOR SHARP at the Wizard World Los Angeles convention on March 14-16, 2008. In commemoration of the film’s win at the 2006 con, RAZOR SHARP will have a special screening on Saturday, March 15th at 5:30pm, just before the announcement of the 2008 Wizard world Film Festival winners.

In addition, writer/director Marcus Perry and Veronica Sharpe herself, Cassidy Freeman, will be on hand at the film’s booth on the convention floor. So stop by, pick up a copy of the DVD and the #0 issue comic book, and show your support.
